Day 38: Indiana

The Indiana State Capitol in Indianapolis, captured with Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens (f/16 at 122mm) on Nikon D800 in the harsh, late morning sun. There must be a better view of this building from a street somewhere in this city. As a first time visitor to this city, I did not find that view in the time I spent during morning rush hour. Had to make do with this.

Reached here late at night. Spent the afternoon at Mammoth Cave NP. Greeted by a gorgeous sunset over flat landscape of Indiana!

Thanks to Dave for pulling over to let me know his appreciation for folks who travel around the country, how his dad had taken him to all 50 states when he was 13 years old and how that trip broadened his mind and helped shape his life.
