As is known to happen in Oregon, it was cloudy most of the day. Got better late in the afternoon and sunset was spectacular.
Feeling positive vibes here, like back home. When I arrived at the Oregon State Capitol building in Salem, OR, the sun was setting and beautiful light was all around but 1) there was construction activity around the building and 2) streets by the building were cordoned off for some street basketball tournament. The few hours I got to spend there, this is probably the best shot I got of the building. I hope to visit Salem again. Spoke to some nice folks who were preparing the space for the basketball tournament! They were genuinely excited about my roadtrip.
