As soon as I entered California, was greeted by smoke coming from the wildfires couple hundred miles south of OR-CA border. The smoke only thickened as I got closer to Sacramento (which is about a 100 miles south of where the fires are). I could barely see Mount Shasta as I was driving down I5. It seemed like the sunset lasted for hours...was spooky. I've never seen anything like this before.
