Harvested from my backyard. In normal times, I would share this with my friends and neighbors. Since we are all doing our part with shelter-in-place, I have to do something by myself with all of the harvest this time. I had this in the pan on my kitchen table when the morning light, coming from a window, shining on this raw ginger had me marveling at as simple a thing as ginger which, in normal times previously, I hadn't noticed at all! The color, texture, and aroma...are all simply wonderful!
I hope I'm not the only one noticing more things now, sheltering in place, than when there was no restriction on movement.
