Shot with Nikon 70-300mm lens
The past few days have been weird, hot with heatwave and smoke-filled with wildfires. Sun still peeking through the thick smoke from the fires burning in and around San Francisco Bay area. I was literally at my front door when I shot this picture...air quality was bad to even think about going out to look for a vantage point to this beautiful orange disc in the dark sky around 5 pm. Today, the World Photography Day, I'm glad I got to shoot something without which we most likely wouldn't have photography to celebrate.
